Funds collected during the charity concert were given to needy orphans
The organizers of the youth festival of spiritual songs gave charitable donations to needy children Irshava district.
Funds collected during the charity concert, which took place on 27 January 2019, were transferred to low-income orphans and those living in difficult social conditions, the press service of the diocese.
In the festival took part students of Sunday schools, young people Irshava brotherhood and creative teams.
“In General, the amount collected is 23 547 UAH. 50 rubles, 50 dollars, 5 euros. The blessing of the ruling Metropolitan of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod Theodore, after festival for most of the children had acquired the necessary things (clothes, shoes, underwear), stationery required for learning at school”, – said the Chairman of Irshavsky “youth” Archimandrite Agapit (Spinach).
He added that five families were handed envelopes with money, and for one family they bought food and necessary things.
“Thanks to all the caring hearts for your support! Kids are our future, therefore we should support them and give them joy,” said the priest.
