Believers of the UOC shared his thoughts about his Primate

His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine Onufry live by faith, according to the clergy and faithful of the UOC.

On the eve of the name day of his Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry correspondent of Information Department of the UOC asked the clergy and laity of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to share their thoughts about the Primate.

“He loves God, he loves people, and he has a prayer,” “Love, kindness, and most importantly, love of neighbor,” “Protégé of God”, “Prayer”, “a Tireless worker in the field of God” – these words describes the congregation his Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry.

Believers note: at this time the Primate defends his Church and is fighting for his flock.

According to the head of the NGO “Public advocacy” Oleg Denisov, the head is an example for all: “his Beatitude the Primate of the UOC is a very kind, considerate people. He really knows what love is. He is an example to follow, and in this difficult for Ukraine, for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the time, he is indeed the person who can help the Church and believers”.

“He lives according to the commandments, he it emitted. His Beatitude lives in good conscience, towards neighbor and towards God. He – man is not fake, not declarative. Whoever is with him ever in my life seen, had with him the Church, personal or public, sees that it is – a man of my word and conscience,” – said the press Secretary of the Primate of the UOC Archimandrite Paphnutius (Musienko).

Himself the blessed Lord said: “Man must not only believe in God he must trust himself to God. When man entrusts himself to God, he becomes the path leading to truth, the path of knowledge of God. Then the man begins to conquer his mind and feelings to the will of God. So did the venerable Onuphrius the Great, he humbled himself before God, and that this is the most precious spiritual heritage of the Holy”.
