  Our Mission

We Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament
continue the inspiration of our saintly foundress,
Jeanne de Matel,
to extend the Incarnation of Christ.

Central to our spirituality is the Eucharistic presence of Christ
which impels us to serve others with humility, simplicity and charity.

We honor in a special way Mary, Mother of the Word Incarnate,
under the title of the Immaculate Conception,
and confidently entrust our mission to her protection.

Mindful of the exhortation of Mother de Matel to be evangelists,
we make Jesus the center of our lives in community.

We witness to the Gospel message by our love for one another, by our prayer,
by our awareness of the call to conversion and by our ministry.

We accomplish our mission of evangelization through Christian education,
especially the faith formation of young people, by outreach to the elderly,
and by discerning other needs which call forth
gifts and talents of the Sisters.
