Meet Sr. Barbara Anne Osterhaus...

In 1956, I entered the Community of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament. I have taught in the Catholic Elementary Schools, worked in Deaf Ministry; and since 1981, I have served in the Diocese of Beaumont by being employed in secretarial work in the diocesan offices. In the last twelve years, I have been working in the Beaumont Marriage Tribunal, where I am happy to serve those who are seeking to find healing and peace in the Church.

I have found joy and happiness in my life praying and serving the people of God in His Church, along with the members of my Community. I am thankful and grateful to God for His constant and enduring love, that gives me the help daily to be faithful to His call to this life.

PRAISED BE THE INCARNATE WORD!

   My favorite Scripture passage is:

"As the Father has loved Me
                              so I have loved you.
                                        Live on in My love."
                                                                                      John 15:9
