On 5 August the temple was visited by the Archbishop of Montreal and Canada Gabriel, who led the service. After the Liturgy, Bishop Gabriel addressed the worshippers and congratulated the parish with the 61st anniversary of education. He also awarded the Sisterhood of St. Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna diocesan gramota, after which the faithful and clergy went in procession to the newly built chapel.

The Hierarch consecrated the dome of the future temple, as well as the icon of the Royal family, which will be installed in the chapel after completion of construction.
