In India, 10,000 Christians protest against persecution

About 10,000 Christians gathered together to participate in the demonstration, protesting against the arrest of local Christian leaders and denigration of their reputation, as well as against political decisions that, in their opinion, can lead to the fact that they will be deprived of privileges, rights and land, according to CNL. Prabhakar Tirc and other Christian leaders believe that the arrest of Christians — is part of a government-sponsored campaign to discredit Christian leaders and missionaries.

India currently ranks eleventh in the list of countries that persecute Christians (World Watch List).
