23 December 2018 in Strasbourg consecration stavropegic Church of All Saints, reports the website of the Korsun diocese. With the blessing of Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill made the rank of Bishop Nestor of Korsun. The Metropolitan was co-served by parish rector of All Saints Abbot Philip (Ryabykh), Secretary of the diocesan administration of the diocese of Korsun, priest Maxim Politov, rector of the Church in honor of St. Gregory Palamas and St. Attalia in Strasbourg priest Daniel Ecklein, the Strasbourg clergy of All Saints parish priest Eugene Makushkin and deacon John Kulak, as well as deacon Dimitry Stadnik.
The festive divine service was attended by distinguished guests: the Ambassador of Russia in France A. Yu. Meshkov and his wife, Consul General of Russia in Strasbourg Yury Solovyov, Permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the Council of Europe I. D. Satanovsky with his wife. The event has also been attended by French architect temple Mr. Michel Arnold.
After making a small consecration of the Church of All Saints was first divine Liturgy. For all the services was the singing of the parish choir, led by Anastasia Ivanova.
The great consecration of the Church, with God’s help, intends to make the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church his Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill in 2019.
