The consecration of a memorial cross in Mukachevo
At the Cathedral of Mukachevo, Metropolitan Theodore has marked the anniversary of his Episcopal consecration, festive service.
23 December 2018 Metropolitan Feodor of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod made the rite of consecration of a memorial cross in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of historian, theologian and Secretary of the Mukachevo eparchy, the late Archpriest Nicholas Logoyda. This is the website of the diocese of Mukachevo.
Before that, Bishop tawadros, who recently had a stroke, celebrated the divine Liturgy in the Cathedral in honor of the Pochaev icon of the mother of God.
During the Liturgy sounded the effectual fervent prayer for peace in Ukraine.
Earlier in the diocese of Mukachevo reported hospitalization of Metropolitan Theodore. Later the information appeared that the condition of the Bishop is stabilized. As reported by the SPM in the ranking of the TOP 100 “most Influential people of Transcarpathia” 2018 Metropolitan Feodor of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod took the third position in the section “Spirituality”.
