10 December in the Hall of Church cathedrals of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior will host the closing ceremony of the annual programme of the IX international Slavic arts forum “Golden knight” award and the outstanding masters of arts in film, theatre, music, literature and fine arts.
In the field of theatre:
- the highest award – a gold medal. N. D. Mordvinov “For outstanding contribution to theatrical art” will be awarded to the Artistic Director of the Novosibirsk city drama theatre, the honored art worker of the Russian Federation Sergey Afanasyev;
The presidential “Golden Knights” will be awarded:
- people’s artist of Russia Ilze Liepa – for the play “Prince Vladimir the Red Sun. Quest of Prince Vladimir”;
- honored artist of Russia Andrey Merzlikin and conductor Anton Zhukov – for the creation of the project “Vasily Shukshin. People of the earth.”
In the field of cinema:
- highest award – gold medal. S. F. Bondarchuk “For the outstanding contribution to cinema” will be awarded the people’s artist of USSR, laureate of two State prizes of Russia, Full cavalier of the order “For merits before Fatherland” Inna Churikova and people’s artist of the RSFSR, Laureate of the RSFSR State prize and prize of the President of the Russian Federation, cavalier of the order “For merits before Fatherland” IV degree Gleb Panfilov.
In the field of fine art:
- the highest award – a gold medal. A. A. Ivanov “For his outstanding contribution to the arts” will be awarded the people’s artist of Russia Vasily Nesterenko.
In literature:
- the highest award – a gold medal. Of A. S. Pushkin “For outstanding contribution to the literature” – the laureate of the Lenin prize and two USSR State prizes, laureate of the Patriarchal prize for literature, the writer Yuri Bondarev.
