In the temple of the Holy Royal Martyrs will be held in Altuhova “Royal days”

    

From 14 to 17 July in the Church of Holy Royal Martyrs will be held for the sixth time “Royal days in Altuhova”. This year in honor of the 100th anniversary of the martyrdom of the Royal family in the temple will be installed and consecrated worship cross, reports the Synodal Department for Church relations with society and the media.

The program of events will open on Saturday 14 July. On this day festive events will include creative workshops for kids, a film about the Martyr John of Riga. The same will be festive all-night vigil.

The next day will be a concert of Serbian youth choir “Musikus” and dance ensemble “ACA Obradovic”, ball and balloon flying.

The event will continue on Monday July 16, sanctification, the cross, the historical game “In the footsteps of the Royal martyrs”, a concert of deacon Raphael “For Faith, Tsar and Fatherland!” and rewarding of winners of the creative competition. Traditionally held at midnight, a procession of about 200 people in memory of the martyric death of the Royal family and her loyal subjects.

The main feast day will begin at 6am on July 17 with akathist to the Holy Royal passion-bearers. After the divine Liturgy and the procession will start common meal and a concert. At the concert in memory of the Martyr heroism of the Royal family will perform the soloists of the Bolshoi theatre Fyodor Tarasov and Oksana Lesnichaya, the ensemble “Cossack Circle”, the Serbian ensemble “Musikus”, etc.

The temple in honor of the Holy Royal Martyrs was built in 2005-2008 July 19, 2012 was held a great consecration of the Church, headed by Metropolitan Arseny of Istra. 17 July 2015 near the temple was installed and consecrated the monument to the Holy Royal martyrs, author and sculptor who was Vladimir Lepeshov.
