In Ukraine the number of deaths at the end of April 2018 exceeds the number of births by almost two times. This was reported in the Express edition of the State statistics service, posted on Monday, June 18.
So, for the first four months the number of deaths exceeds the number of births per 100 deaths – 54 newborns.
According to state statistics, the population in Ukraine decreased by 85.7 thousand people on may 1, was 42.3 million.
Previously the Agency Bloomberg, estimated that by 2050 the population of Ukraine decreased by 36%.
