Believers prayer commemorates the miraculous Vinnitsa-Rojecky Mother of God.
7 September in Vinnytsia diocese celebrated the day of memory Vinnitsa-Rojecky of the icon, the website of the diocese of Vinnytsia.
The feast day of the miraculous icon of the Mother of God Metropolitan of Vinnitsa and Barsky Simeon together with the clergy celebrated the divine Liturgy at the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral of the city.
After the Liturgy, Archbishop Simeon congratulated all present on the occasion Rojecki Mother of God and the historic occasion of the 85th anniversary of the founding of the diocese of Vinnytsia.
Rajecka icon is the only image that remained unharmed during the fire in Rajecka monastery on the tail in the 30-ies of the ХVІII century. The icon was kept in Moscow the Annunciation convent (1802), Brailovsky monastery (1845), in 1891, returned to the restored Rojecky deserts. The fate of the original icon is unknown.
The decision of the Holy Synod of the UOC of October 27, 2015 recognized the Church sanctuary. The modern list vintage image is in the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnitsa.
