Metropolitan Anthony: We have no right to lose faith for salvation

Metropolitan of Boryspil and Brovary Antony has called upon the faithful of the Holy Church never lose hope, no matter how difficult it may seem around us realities.

Standing at the Bethlehem manger, which is the Holy Church, let us ask the Christ child with dignity to overcome sufferings that are given us from the enemy of the human race, – wrote in his Christmas message, managing the Affairs of the UOC Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich).

“Our present is overshadowed by wars and all kinds of adversities of this world, – is spoken in the message published on the website of the Boryspil diocese. – But we have no right to lose faith for salvation, for the birth of the divine child received hope for the existence in the otherworld, the world of God – the Kingdom of heaven.”

According to Bishop, even if we feel like the whole world is against us, we should firmly believe: the power Born of God much more.

The Archbishop wished all the faithful children of the Holy Orthodox Church never lose hope in God and walk the path of the star of Bethlehem that shines with love, patience and peace.

“Let the Savior is our example in this difficult time, when it seems that the Church, as a little child, can not do anything, but in the end, believe: it will lead us to peace in the Kingdom of the newborn Infant,” – said Metropolitan Anthony.

Earlier, in his Christmas message, the Primate of the UOC his Beatitude Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine Onufry reminded that the Church is the Body of Christ, and no one needs to make in her life the laws of lust for power and violence.
