Moscow will host the photo exhibition “the Russian seasons. Valaam”

    

November 1, 2018 in Moscow in the gallery under the open sky in the Central alley of the Boulevard will open an exhibition of famous photographer Alexander Lvov “Russian seasons. Balaam,” according to the Diocese.

The exhibition continues in 2016, the project-a trilogy of Alexander Lvov “Russian seasons”, dedicated to the creation of artistic images of the Holy places that are particularly dear to the Russian people. The author calls this a project attempting to render historical memory of the Russian people.

On creating the image of Balaam the author worked for over a year with the support and complicity of the creative fraternity of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Valaam monastery and of the Abbot of the monastery Bishop Trinity Pancras.

In July this year, the exhibition “the Russian seasons. Balaam” was presented by Balaam; the exhibition was visited by thousands of pilgrims and visitors to the island. July 11, at the end of his visit to Valaam, the exposition was visited by his Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill.

The opening of the photo exhibition will be held at 12.00.

The exhibition runs until 1 December.

The exhibition is organized by the center of producing pictures “ProLab”, the Public chamber of the Russian Federation, international public Fund “Russian peace Foundation” with the support of the cruise company “Vodohod” company “Vakant technologies”, Andrey Pervozvanny Fund and the company “Borisfen”.
