In the village Chernyakhiv unknowns spoiled a Billboard with welcome speech of the Metropolitan of Zhytomyr and Novograd Volyn Nicodemus on the occasion of the anniversary of the Baptism of Rus.
On the night of July 26 in the center of the village Chernyakhiv, Zhytomyr region unknown ripped from the wall and slashed a Billboard on which the Metropolitan of Zhytomyr and Novograd Volyn Nicodemus congratulated Ukrainians with the 1030-th anniversary of the Baptism of Kievan Rus.
As told by the Dean ALE Chernyakhovsky district, Zhytomyr diocese of the UOC Archimandrite Clement, a Billboard hung at a height of more than three meters.
In police representatives of the UOC explained that the incident can be qualified as hooliganism, but given that there are no witnesses, no footage from the surveillance cameras, criminals, most likely, will not find.
On the eve of the procession of the UOC in Ukraine, opponents have intensified the canonical Church.
