The bells will ring simultaneously in all the churches and monasteries of the UOC
Bells will announce the beginning of celebrations in honor of the 1030-th anniversary of the baptism of Rus.
With the blessing of his Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and all Ukraine Onufry in all the churches and monasteries of the UOC on July 27 at the same time will ring the bells, according to Information-enlightenment Department of the UOC.
Bell ringing will begin at 11:00. Solemn bells will announce the beginning of the celebration 1030-anniversary of the Baptism of Rus.
On the same day at St. Vladimir’s hill at 13:00 there will be a prayer service, which will be headed by the Primate of the UOC. After the prayer service at 13:30 will start the procession from the Orthodox shrines, which will proceed from St. Vladimir’s hill to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
In honor of the 1030-th anniversary of the baptism of Russia in Kiev will be on the bow 8 of the miraculous shrines.
As reported by the SPM in the Kyivan Metropolitanate, it is expected that on July 27, the procession from Vladimir hill to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra will gather more than 100 thousand people.
