Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church opens a new season of competition for the best previously unpublished work of fiction, dedicated to the new martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church, according to patriarhiei.
This season the competition has received the name “New library”.
The aim of the competition organized by the Publishing Council in the framework of the General ecclesiastical development objectives of honoring the memory of martyrs, is the creation of new literary works of art, revealing the faith of martyrs and Confessors who have suffered during the persecution of the Church in the twentieth century.
Those wishing to participate in the competition should send the application for participation, compiled on behalf of the author of the manuscript, which is a e-mail, indicating the author’s name, year of birth, and contact information, and a list of major publications.
The manuscript in electronic form on the topic in volume according to the tender requirements should be sent to the email address [email protected].
The acceptance of articles starts on 1 January 2019, the deadline is August 31.
The winners of the contest receive diplomas and award certificates for the cash prize.
