Washington built the world’s largest Bible Museum. By agreement between the Museum and the Israel antiquities authority, immediately after the opening there will be a display of artifacts found during excavations in Israel.
The Museum building will rise near the National Mall and the famous Smithsonian institution, where located, in particular, the Museum of aviation and cosmonautics. The construction of the Museum building began several days ago with the demolition of the old house that occupied this place.
“Our idea and our desire is to tell the story of the Bible so fascinating that people will spend hours walking around the Museum,” says the founder of the Museum of the Bible Steve green, presenting a layout of the new building.
Steve’s family owns one of the largest collections of biblical artifacts in the world. Most of them placed in the new Museum, along with the many modern exhibits designed to quicken the Word of God.
“The word “Museum” is often associated with something old and dusty. However, it will all the latest technology, a very interesting and interactive. Here everyone will be able himself to plan their trip,” says Steve green.
The Museum is scheduled to open in 2017, the project will cost four hundred million dollars.
