The results of the contest “Christmas songs of the world”

    

The organizers of the Patriarch of the international festival “Songs of the Christian world” summed up the contest “Christmas songs of the world” reports patriarhiei.

In 2018, the competition attracted more than 1,300 young participants from Russia, Belarus, China, Italy.

Regional selection rounds of the contest “Christmas songs of the world”, master classes and charity concerts of the choir of the Patriarchal Cathedral of Christ the Saviour took place in the cities of Perm and Vladimir, with the support of the Governor and the Department of culture of administration of Vladimir region, the Ministry of culture of the Perm region, using the grant of the President of the Russian Federation on development of civil society provided by the presidential grants.

The winners of the contest were:

  • The concert choir of center of creative development and musical aesthetic education “Radost ‘” (artistic Director Tatiana Zhdanova; the winner of I degree in the nomination “Choral singing”);
  • Concert choir of the senior classes of children’s art school № 2 named after S. S. Prokofiev” the city of Vladimir (artistic Director Natalie krinitsyna; winner of the II degree in the nomination “Choral singing”);
  • National collective “Chorus of Russian song” the Vladimir regional College of music named after A. Borodin (artistic Director Olga Kozyreva; winner of the II degree in the nomination “Folk or ethnic singing”);
  • Folk choir of the Perm regional College of arts and culture, the folk song ensemble “Uralochka” (head Beletskaya Larissa; winner of the II degree in the nomination “Folk or ethnic singing”).

Ceremonial presentation of diplomas to the winners will take place at VI annual charity gala “Christmas songs of the world” the Patriarch of the international festival “Songs of the Christian world” 11 January 2019 at 18.00 in the Hall of Church cathedrals of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow.
