The Vatican ratified the Convention on higher education in Asia is Your Bible

The Holy see ratified the regional Convention on the recognition of qualifications in higher education in Asia and the Pacific, reports vaticannews.

This document was adopted on 26 November 2011 in Tokyo at the international conference of States convened by UNESCO; the meeting was attended by a delegation of Vatican headed by Mons. Joseph Cannata, Apostolic Nuncio to Japan. 16 Jul Prelate, have signed this Convention on behalf of the Holy see.

Mons. Francesco Follo, permanent observer of the Vatican at UNESCO, handed over the instrument of ratification, Deputy Director-General of UNESCO for education, Ms. Stefania Giannini. For the Holy see the Treaty will enter into force on September 1, 2018, in accordance with paragraph X. 2 of the same document.

This agreement represents the revision of the regional Convention on the recognition of studies, diplomas and degrees in Asia and the Pacific, to which the Holy see acceded 10 July 1995.
