Today in Ukraine in the city of Mukachevo begins the annual evangelistic tour band No Longer Music. Within 10 days the team will travel to 8 cities in the country, where he will hold a show and thus tell people about Jesus. According to the statistics given by the organizers of such tours are usually harvested from 1,000 people.
The band No Longer Music was established in 80 – ies of David Pearce. He is the founder of the mission “Steiger”, which exists worldwide and is engaged in evangelism for the younger generation. Her goal is to reach young people from 15 to 35 years through creativity.
“It will be a show, in other words, the concert where we will use theatre performances, dances, fire show, in order to collect the maximum number of people, to attract their attention. All with one purpose – we are to preach the gospel. The idea is that through the whole show was the message, and in the end, the preacher shares the Word and encourage people to accept Jesus, says to the correspondent of GOD.NEWS Denis Malimono, missionary and one of the leaders of the mission “Steiger” in Ukraine. “After all, as a rule, we approach people and communicate with them, pray and invite them to subsequent meetings. At these meetings, people can meet each other and also with the guys from the local churches. As a result, people come to Church there and helping them to grow in God.”
These tours are held in Ukraine since 2011. At this time the team will visit the cities of Mukachevo, Uzhhorod, Ternopil, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Kremenchug, Krivoy Rog, Melitopol. The team No Longer Music for over 30 years, travels the countries around the world, and preach the gospel. Every once in Ukraine on the concert comes from 1000 to 3000 people. About 100 people recite the prayer of repentance and come to subsequent meetings.
