The Orthodox camp in Zhytomyr
In the Orthodox camp could improve your health more than 20 children.
Zhytomyr diocese organized a health camp for orphans and children of participants of hostilities in the Donbass, reports the website of the Zhytomyr diocese.
The camp was held from July 16 to July 29, on the basis of the health resort in the picturesque village of Denishi. During this time, 22 children could have fun, spiritually perfected, communicating with priests and attending Church services.
Each day began with prayer, reading and interpretation of the gospel. Also the priest told the children the parable and revealed their deeper meaning.
During his stay on the rehabilitation of children visited many of the Holy places of Zhytomyr: the Spaso-Preobrazhensky men’s Trigorskoye monastery where people went to confession and received communion, Transfiguration Cathedral, Zhytomyr, St. Anastasia convent, etc.
Earlier, the Boryspil diocese organized recreation 120 children in the Orthodox camp.
