Boxer Alexander Usik expressed surprise regarding the fact that someone can interfere with the procession.

The world Boxing champion in the first heavyweight Alexander Usik defended the believers who went in procession in honor of the 1030-th anniversary of the baptism of Rus. 1 August during the press conference, the athlete said he did not understand why someone can interfere with that people go to pray.

“Recently I was looking on the Internet for the procession, which was timed to 1030 anniversary of the baptism of Russia, – said the athlete. – Have you seen how many people came? This prevents that leaves so many people to pray? Come to pray and it interferes with someone? Sick or something, I don’t know.”

“It’s wonderful when people pray, – said the boxer. – Grace comes to us, the whole country comes to us grace,” said Usyk.

On July 27 in Kiev held a procession of the Church in honor of the 1030-th anniversary of the baptism of Rus. Despite the obstacles from the authorities, the procession was attended by about 250,000 people.
