Another provocation against Ukrainian Orthodox churches have committed in Lviv

    

Provocation in relation to the three churches of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church committed in Lviv. On the evening of 9 November 2018 near the Church there were inscriptions: “Moscow Patriarchate, a branch of the FSB”, informs a portal “Orthodox life” with reference to Upc.lviv.ua.

All labels are made with white paint, two of them under the stencil.

“This is the second provocation against our Holy places in Lviv after holding a Synod in Constantinople on October 9-11, that the official communiqué called on all stakeholders for interfaith peace in the light of the love of Christ”, – stated in the message.

    

As recalled in the Lviv diocese of the UOC, such incidents in the civilized world “regarded on a par with the barbarity and admit forcible action against the religious beliefs of the individual.”

“We call on hotheads not to aggravate the religious situation today and to reject the anti-Christian polemics of hatred. Also require law enforcement officials to be interfaith peace more responsibly and carefully to perform their duties to prevent provocations on religious grounds”, – stated in the message.

We will remind, on the night of 21 October 2018 unknown persons pasted leaflets with the image of Stalin and the words “Stalinist Patriarchy” wall Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the neighborhood Sykhiv Lviv. The actions of provocateurs in the diocese associated with started on the initiative of politicians in the process of granting autocephaly of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine.
