From 5 to 9 September 2018 the Publishing house of the Moscow Patriarchate participates in the XXXI Moscow international book exhibition-fair. The exhibition is held at VDNH, pavilion 75. At the stand of the Publishing house presents a large selection of spiritual and educational literature, books of his Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill, publications addressed to children, adolescent and youth audiences, according to patriarhiei.
Also the Publishing house of the Moscow Patriarchate conducts an extensive programme of presentations.
7 September in the framework of the forum the Moscow Patriarchate Publishing house presented two books of his Holiness Patriarch Kirill: “Faithful to the Lord. The Royal family” and “Holy Russia, keep the Orthodox faith: To 1030 anniversary of the baptism of Rus”.
In the presentation took part the chief editor of the Publishing house of the Moscow Patriarchate Bishop Balashikha Nikolay I the Russian writer and historian, member of the Union of writers of Russia Pyotr Multatuli. Leading the presentation was the head of the international Department of the Publishing house of the Moscow Patriarchate Igor Lapshin.
Opening the presentation, Bishop Balashikha Nikolay told the audience about the work being done in the Publishing house of the Moscow Patriarchate on the issue in light of the books of his Holiness Patriarch Kirill.
Then the audience was presented recently published in the series “the Patriarch,” the book of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, “Faithful to the Lord. The Royal family”. The book is a sixth edition of a series of small books with the speeches of his Holiness Patriarch Kirill on topical issues. The book includes the words of his Holiness, dedicated to 100-anniversary of the martyrdom of the Holy Royal martyrs, prepodobnomuchenitsy Elisavety Feodorovny and their faithful satellites. The Foreword was written by the Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Kirill.
This year marks the 1030-th anniversary of the baptism of Rus. The audience was presented a specially prepared and published to this date the book by Patriarch Kirill “Holy Russia, keep the Orthodox faith: To 1030 anniversary of the baptism of Rus”.
During the presentation, was also presented a selection of photographs to illustrate published books.
