Awarded the XIII contest “Education through the book”

    

November 1, 2018 in the Temple of Christ the Savior was held a solemn presentation of diplomas and memorable prizes to the winners of XIII competition publications “Education through the book”, the website of the Publishing Council.

The competition is held with the blessing of his Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill. The contest is organized by the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church and Exhibition Association “RESTEC” with the support of the Federal Agency for press and mass communications.

The ceremony was attended by:

  • the Chairman of the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church Metropolitan Kliment of Kaluga and Borovsk;
  • the Chairman of the Department for external Church relations of the Moscow Patriarchate Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk;
  • Metropolitan Longin of Saratov and Volsk;
  • Bishop Balashikha Nikolay;
  • the General Director of group of companies “RESTEC” Igor Kirsanov;
  • Director, State public historical library of Russia Mikhail Afanasyev.

In 2018, the jury said more than 50 Russian and foreign publications in 11 categories.
