The arranger of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Archimandrite Polycarp (Lineco) also explained that the brotherhood is not going anywhere to take out the shrines of the monastery. He said this at a briefing on January 15, reports “Ukrainian truth”.

“We’re not going to leave our sacred space – not in Russia, not anywhere, because we are Ukrainians, we live on our land, praying for his people and for his country, that the Lord blessed her”, he said.

The priest recalled that Laura, the UOC received in terrible condition, but gradually gave it up.

Archimandrite Polycarp says that he restored the temples, and their parts.

In the 90-ies of the capital were restored iconostasis”, – he stressed.

He assured that all of this can be seen by any visitor of the monastery.

“And who can tell us that we do not store our sanctuary and that we are not patriots? So here I am our opponents disappoint: we the degree of patriotism exhibited, and we are in the sanctuary all donations put human – all of this you can come and see,” – said Archimandrite Polycarp.
