The procession of the UOC on the occasion of the 1030-th anniversary of the baptism of Rus
The day of the procession on the occasion of the 1030-th anniversary of Christianization of Kievan Rus has become for Ukrainians a day of great spiritual positive, said Deputy head of the DECR of the UOC Archpriest Nikolai Danilevich.

“Saw the photo. Very positive. Bright and happy faces of the people. I would say: “Tired but smiling”, or in other words: “Tired and happy” 🙂 as Many people as they are today in the procession, I did not remember,” writes the priest.

Hierarchs of the local Churches, took part in the procession, told that they were struck during the procession. The representative of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus, Bishop Arsenalski Nektarios said that he was impressed by the number of the procession, and the Bishop of the Patriarchate of Alexandria Metropolitan Irinoupolis Dimitri thanked the Ukrainians for the fact that he first visited Ukraine and felt like home.
According to preliminary data, July 27, in the procession of the UOC took part about 250 thousand people.
