21 Aug 2018 in the Moscow suburb of Sokolniki exhibition and Convention centre “the Patriot” took place opening of International military-technical forum “Army-2018,” according to patriarhiei.
The event was opened by the Minister of defence of the Russian Federation army General Sergei Shoigu.
With a greeting to participants and guests of the International military-technical forum asked the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The opening ceremony visited the Patriarchal vicar of the Moscow diocese, Metropolitan of Krutitsy and Kolomna Juvenal and Chairman of the Synodal Department on interaction with Armed forces and law enforcement agencies Archpriest Sergey Privalov.
The exposition part of the forum is international exhibition of high-performance equipment and technologies for modernization of enterprises of the military industrial complex “Intellectual industrial technology-2018”.
