Volodymyr Lytvyn was one of the signatories of the appeal to the constitutional Court of Ukraine with the requirement to cancel the law № 2662 (number of registered bill No. 5309 – note. ed.) about the renaming of religious organizations, the Verkhovna Rada adopted on 20 December.
Earlier, the Metropolitan of Cherkassy and Kanev Sofroniy said that Constantinople has formed in Ukraine is fully under control of the Greek Church.
