From 24th to 29th July in the village of Diveevo, Nizhny Novgorod region held a large-scale international sports and military-Patriotic festival “ORTHODOX WARRIOR -2018”, which has no analogues in Russia. The project “Orthodox warrior” is recognized as one of the best military-Patriotic projects of Russia, and became the winner of the competition of Presidential grants. The event will be attended by about a thousand children and teenagers – representatives of different military-Patriotic and sports-Patriotic clubs of Russia and abroad. The main objectives of the competition is to promote healthy lifestyles, moral and Patriotic education of teenagers and youth, popularization of different sports. The festival program: military hand to hand combat, dagger Cossack combat, military tactical contest, cutting with his sword, laser-tag, etc.
For camps the “Orthodox Warrior” is not accidentally chosen the Fourth destiny of the virgin. Diveevo is a renowned centre of pilgrimage for Orthodox Christians, where the soul truly rests, filled with love and peace. Here are the relics of one of the most revered by the Russian people of the saints – St. Seraphim of Sarov.
