In the village of Smolyava Gorokhovsky deanery of the diocese of Volyn robbed the Church of the Holy Archangel Michael.
Of the wooden churches located on the southern edge of Smolava, stole three ancient icons, whose age is more than 200 years, said life expectancy in the Volyn diocese.
Signs of forced entry and the loss of ancient icons found on the morning of January 13. The thieves took the paintings, carefully cutting them from their frames. Were also stolen some items of Church utensils.
Currently Gorokhovsky Department of the police conducts investigations, establishes the amount of damages.
