Famous Hollywood actor and musician Steven Seagal has become a participant of the International festival of Orthodox media “Faith and word”, Moscow.
A week ago at a press conference, TASS Steven Seagal, who openly professes Buddhism, the Patriarch called the “great spiritual leader” and said that “Russian Orthodoxy is a great religion.”
Along with representatives from more than three hundred dioceses, the actor took part in the meeting with Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill. The Primate answered questions of participants from Russian regions and foreign countries, writes the Constantinople.
Mostly the questions were about the autocephaly of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Recall that in 2016 Steven Seagal has been granted Russian citizenship. He is the special envoy of the Russian foreign Ministry for humanitarian Affairs of Russia and the USA.
