Orthodox youth camp of the Church in the diocese of Nizhyn
Right-wing radicals broke into the Orthodox youth camp of the UOC, however, children were not found, as the camp finished the job a day early.
The nationalists due to children’s camp threatened to the Lord and beat up the editor of the local newspaper because he wrote an article about the rest of the children. This was announced by the head of the outreach Department of the UOC Archbishop of Nezhin and Priluki Clement in the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
“This somehow caused a wave of indignation among local nationalist radicals, in particular the party “Freedom” and other nationalist groups. They handled the threats to me first, then decided to pay a visit to the camp. Fortunately, they miscalculated: the camp was finished a day early, otherwise I can not imagine what it would be,” – said the Bishop.
The Bishop also said that not finding the children in the camp, July 25 30 radicals broke into Borznyanskyy the district administration, beat up the chief editor of the local newspaper for what they wrote as children rest.
