In Chuvash Republic the relics of St. Spyridon is venerated more than 25 thousand people

    

On the morning of 20 September 2018 took seeing the relics of St. Spyridon of Chuvash Republic Yaroslavl, reports patriarhiei. The Shrine was brought to the Cathedral of the Holy Prince Vladimir in the city of Novocheboksarsk in the evening of 18 September.

According to preliminary data, during the stay of the Shrine in Chuvashia, more than 25 thousand pilgrims from the Chuvash Republic and in neighbouring regions came to venerate the Holy relics. Assistance in the organization of the work with the pilgrims provided the volunteers, among whom were young parishioners of the Cathedral and representatives of the youth communities of Chuvashia.

In Russia, the Shrine will remain until October 15. To venerate the relics in Yaroslavl and Moscow. Of the relics of Saint Spyridon is organized by the Charitable Fund named after Saint Prince Vladimir. The Fund, established in 2015, support social initiatives, charitable and educational programs.
