On 26 June 2018 was held in Hong Kong a presentation of the Chinese edition of his Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill “word of the pastor”, according to patriarhiei. With the blessing of His Holiness the book introduced readers to the Chairman of the Patriarchal Council for culture of Pskov and Porkhov, Metropolitan Tikhon.
In the presentation organized by the Patriarchal Council for culture with the assistance of the Russian club in Hong Kong, was attended by the General Consul of the Russian Federation in Hong Kong, A. V. Kozlov, President of the Chinese charity Foundation “Khuamin ‘” Lou Daji, members of the Orthodox community of Hong Kong, Christian Church leaders, diplomats, journalists, members of the public. Lou deji expressed the opinion that this event “will be a bridge on the way Russian-Chinese cultural exchanges and friendly relations in the new era”.
The book “Pastor’s Word: God and man. The history of salvation” was first published in 2004 then repeatedly reprinted and has been translated into fourteen languages. Chinese translation was completed by one of the leading China specialists in Russian Philology Professor sun Yue.
