In Moscow ended the XXIII international Festival of films and TV programs “Radonezh”

    

From 23 to 27 November in Moscow in the Central house of cinematographers of the Russian IC hosted the XXIII international festival of film and TV programs “Radonezh”.

The closing ceremony of the Festival took place on 27 November in the Great hall of the cinema House. Jury under the chairmanship of V. I. Hotinenko was awarded the “Grand Prix” of the Festival the film Galina Ogurnaya “Revolution. A trap for Russia” (Russia, Moscow, 2018) scenario Elena Chavchavadze. The festival brought together about 200 film and TV companies from all over Russia, CIS and foreign countries. This year the selection Committee was sent to 160 films and television programs. Given the unprecedented number and high standard of entries, the organizing Committee decided to show more information and the programme of 15 films. In addition to documentary films and TV programs in the competition, 7 and 9 animated short. The geography of the festival have sent their works filmmakers from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Abkhazia. Your movies gave filmmakers from Bulgaria, Serbia, Poland.

In his speech at the closing ceremony of the XXIII Festival “Radonezh” Festival President E. K. Nikiforov noted the huge demand of the society presented at the Festival of films and television programs that reflect the religious life of Russia and the importance of religion in the modern world. “Is striking, however, that while the demand for these works and the significance of their subject matter, remains the funding of the Festival that is called as a residual. The impression is,” said E. K. Nikiforov, “that even a religious war, which has already begun near our borders, does not disturb the serenity of the bureaucracy of culture.”
