7 July 2018, in the suburban estate of Zakharovo, in the territory of State historical-literary Museum-reserve of A. S. Pushkin will be held the festival “Tradition”, reports the Synodal Department for Church relations with society and the media.
Tradition — a family festival under the open sky, the annual picnic for art lovers, fans of poetry and theatre. “Tradition” — an event for the whole family — both parents and children.
For 10 areas of the Park planned more than 60 events of different genres and directions. Among the participants — Inna Zhelannaya and Sergey Starostin, ethno-fusion trio Varevo and Gypsy RadaNik duet, ensemble “Cossack Circle” and the rapper Tipsy-Type ensemble Georgian polyphony “a Capella-Sakartvelo”. Writers Zakhar Prilepin and Sergey Shargunov, historians Pavel Basinsky and Oleg Shishkin, poets Anna Revyakin, a famous sculptor Vasily Selivanov, the organizer of Russian street art Eugene Fateyev and many others.
The festival Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov will present the book “the sovereign’s crown.” Archpriest George Orekhanov presents his book about Leo Tolstoy — modern analysis of the great conflict of the writer with the Church. Art historian from the Museum of the Andronikov monastery Svetlana Gnutova, author of “the Cross in Russia”, will give a lecture. Will host a poetry evening commemorating the Omsk poet Oleg Damn.
Several sites will be specifically allocated to projects for children: games, theatrical performances, master-classes.
Special event theatrical marathon will be a multimedia performance of “king’s crown” dedicated to the centenary of the execution of the Royal family. Material for the play was unique newsreel and diaries of Nicholas II, Alexandra Feodorovna, Grand duchesses and Tsarevich Alexei, the verses of poets of the revolutionary pores and modern poetry.
The festival is held under the auspices of the Russian Art Union, which brings together artists and cultural workers, independent and creative leaders in different directions on the basis of traditional values.
