Archpriest Alexander Klimenko
The winner of the contest “Voice of country-7” performed at the charity event, organized in Poltava diocese.
4 November 2018 in Horishni Marshes of the diocese of Poltava hosted a charity concert featuring the singing teacher of the Poltava missionary theological Seminary Vita Gazali, Seminary choir collectives of children’s music school and winner of the TV show “the Voice-7” Archpriest Alexander Klimenko. This writes the press service of Poltava diocese.
The aim of the concert was a fundraiser for the purchase of medical equipment military hospital APU Lisichansk. The results of the action managed to collect about 15 000 UAH.
The concert had a missionary nature, as the speech of the father of Alexander Klimenko was accompanied by a sermon with various parables and instructive stories. With words of gratitude to the audience and the artists have addressed the Vice-rector PMDS his grace, Bishop Benjamin novosanzhars’kyi.
Guests of the concert could also see a photo exhibition showing the social service of Poltava diocese.
Archpriest Alexander Klimenko became the winner of the show on the TV channel “1+1” “voice of the country-7” in 2017. In 2018 in the framework of the Ukrainian missionary and educational tour father Alexander visited with concerts many diocese, where he conducted interviews with young people.
