In the capital of Uzbekistan consecrated the first in Central Asia a temple in honor of the Holy Royal martyrs

    

22 December 2018, the feast of the blessed virgin “unexpected Joy”, the Metropolitan of Tashkent and Uzbekistan Vikenty consecrated the first in Central Asia a temple of the Holy Royal passion-bearers in Tashkent, reports patriarhiei.

The consecration of the Church dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the tragic death of the Emperor Nicholas II, Empress Alexandra Feodorovna and their children, Tsarevich Alexis, and Grand princesses Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia.

    

The construction of a three-tiered temple, located on the territory of the Spiritual and administrative center of Tashkent diocese, lasted several years. The decision on its consecration was made after the completion of the internal finishing and painting of the walls and ceiling.

After the rite of the great consecration, the Metropolitan Vincent headed into the temple divine Liturgy. After the service head of Central Asian Metropolitan district addressed the worshippers with his archpastoral word.
