With the blessing of Metropolitan Kirill of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye traditional ball this year was devoted to the story of Alexander green “Scarlet sails”, reports a press-service of the Yekaterinburg diocese.
As told in the diocesan youth Department, in the course of the ball about 200 people plunged into the atmosphere of the XIX century, a beautiful and romantic atmosphere by Alexander green.
The impressions were very great, – said the organizer of the ball, the student of Ural Federal University Elizabeth V. Severe. – Our choreographers and participants were pleased with the dancing and had a great time. Youth was filled with many historic dances they learned in rehearsals with professional choreographers: waltzes, polkas, marches and more.
Recall that the diocesan balls is a good tradition on organization of leisure of youth, which contributes to its unity and familiarity with the Orthodox world, said the Department of youth Affairs of the Yekaterinburg diocese. The idea of organizing such events is recommended to be held in the dioceses of the Synodal Department for youth Affairs.
