In the Hall of Church cathedrals of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the inaugural round of the all-Russian Cossack society

    

27 November 2018 at the Church councils Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow hosted the Founding circle of the all-Russian Cossack society, said patriarhiei. The event was attended by about 500 delegates 11 register Cossack armies.

His work was preceded by a prayer service, which was headed by the Chairman of the Synodal Committee for cooperation with the Cossacks, Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk. Before the service, Metropolitan Kirill addressed the audience: “Today the blessing of his Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus Kirill we gathered in the main Cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church to participate in a truly significant event. We are going to pray and pray hard that He sent the grace of the Holy spirit on the historic decision — the creation of the all-Russia Cossack society. By the grace of God and the General works for 30 years, the Cossacks were able to recover, we can say, from oblivion. Let us pray that the Lord has blessed the work of the all-Russian Cossack society for the benefit of our Motherland, for the prosperity of honest Cossacks, protection of the Orthodox faith, the Russian Orthodox Church”.

After the prayer service was held the constituent Assembly (circle) of the all-Russian Cossack society. As honourable guests were present: assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin; Deputy Chairman of RF Government, Chairman of the intergovernmental Commission on Affairs of the Cossacks Vitaly Mutko; the acting Governor of St. Petersburg, Chairman of the presidential Council of the Russian Federation for the Cossacks, Alexander Beglov; Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin; head of Federal Agency on Affairs of nationalities I. V. Barinov, head of the presidential Administration of the Russian Federation on domestic policy, Executive Secretary of the Council under the RF President for the Cossacks Yarin, A. V.; first Deputy Minister of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation A.V. Gorovoy.

In the Hall of Church councils was also attended by representatives of state authorities, Russian Orthodox Church, chieftains and priests military 11 EKR, msutm them. K. G. Razumovsky (First Cossack University), correspondents of mass media. Ataman EKR “Kuban Cossack army” H.. Doluda presented to the participants of the founding circle of the head of the Republic of Crimea S. V. Aksenov.

Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin read out the greeting of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in which the modern Cossacks has been called “a constructive force of society.”

Congratulating atamans of the Cossacks and Cossack clergy with the beginning of the founding of the circle, A. D. Beglov noted that over the years of working together, “we overcame all the difficulties and decided to hold constituent Assembly for proper associations and effective solutions to new problems as the all-Russian Cossack society”. He stressed the merit in this Association of the Synodal Committee Russian Orthodox Church on interaction with the Cossacks, which vitellia was created in the history of the Cossacks in 2010 at the initiative of the Cossacks and the blessing of his Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill. A. D. Beglov, expressed satisfaction with the progress in the development of a continuous system of Cossack education, which educates more than 90 thousand Russian pupils and students. He thanked the young Cossacks for responsible preservation of cultural and historical traditions of the Cossacks, and also for the great work on protection of information of the Internet space from the harmful effects of destructive groups and different kinds of manipulators.

Metropolitan Kirill, in his speech, in particular, noted: “the Modern Cossacks appreciates a well-established peace in civil society, helps the authorities in carrying out civil service, lives with worries of parish life, participating in Church activities, attracted the Cossack youth for social work unites the Cossacks a teenage military-Patriotic clubs. Their role is becoming more visible in Russian society. <…> Today, the Cossacks really need a fruitful alternative to any disputes and disagreements that serve no useful purpose. The crucial importance of creating the all-Russian Cossack society lies in the fact that the Cossacks <…> will be strong, coherent, effective institution of the Russian society. In accordance with the development plans of our country, the new challenges and opportunities of the modern world it will propose and successfully implement their projects”.

In conclusion Metropolitan Kirill thanked the representatives of the Russian Cossacks, “real Russian people for the warm and unanimous support for the position of the Russian Orthodox Church on the Constantinople Patriarchate of the autocephaly of the dissenters in Ukraine.”

    

“The Orthodox world is indivisible — we stood on this and will stand. You, soldiers of Christ, to come sometime in the Cossack society in the temple with the mandatory oath on the Holy gospel and the Cross, in a loud voice recently warned dissenters that behind the collapse of the integrity of the Orthodox world can follow the most tragic consequences. In the mind of a believer discord among brothers are unacceptable as well as commit other severe sins. I hope that the General prayer and intercession of the Mother of God and saints Russian saints, the Lord will deliver our brothers in Ukraine, and Holy Orthodoxy from the schism”, — concluded the Chairman of the Synodal Committee for cooperation with the Cossacks.

In an address to the delegates of the I. V. Barinov called the Cossacks “an integral part of our society, without the Cossacks Russia would be a very different country.” Head FADH thanked all the co-organizers of the iconic Cossack activities, including the Council under the RF President for the Cossacks, the Moscow government and of the Synodal Committee for cooperation with the Cossacks, a large and well-coordinated preparatory work.

During the event were discussed issues of creation of the all-Russian Cossack society, the adoption of the Charter and of the formation of the Wcss. All delegates unanimously voted for the creation of companies, and also approved its Charter and structure.

The ataman of the Kuban Cossack troops, the Chairman of the Council of atamans N.. Doluda has told about the structure of the all-Russia Cossack society. The Board will consist of 43 people, ataman is appointed by a presidential decree for a period of six years. In the structure of society will enter a large circle, Council leader, Board, Advisory bodies and the audit Commission.

Metropolitan Kirill made a proposal about the formation of the Council for cooperation with religious organizations. It is expected that the Council will consist of 11 military priests, the Chairman and staff of the Synodal Committee for cooperation with the Cossacks.

At the end of the meeting there was a performance of the choral groups of the Kuban Cossack choir and the song and dance Ensemble of the Don Cossacks in the name of Anatoly Kvasov.
