Metropolitan Feodor of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod
Metropolitan Feodor of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod, led the festive divine services in St. Panteleimon monastery.
On 9 August, the feast day of St. healer Panteleimon, St. Panteleimon women’s monastery of the village Osiy performed the rite of sanctification of the throne of the main temple of the monastery, reports the website of the diocese of the UOC.
Divine services were headed by Metropolitan Feodor of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod.
Many believers gathered this afternoon for the traditional prayer to the Holy healer Panteleimon.
The Liturgy was lifted up an ardent prayer to the Martyr about the doctors and all the sick.
After the Liturgy, his grace led a procession around the monastery, after which he congratulated all with the feast day.
On the day of the Holy great Martyr and healer Panteleimon believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will pray for the doctors and patients.
