The relics of saints Vilna arrived in Mukachevo eparchy
The Holy relics of the Holy martyrs of Vilna can be observed in two cathedrals of the diocese of Mukachevo.
At the request of the Metropolitan of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod Theodore, Metropolitan Innokenty of Vilna and Lithuania was blessed to transfer to two cathedrals of the diocese of Mukachevo relics of saints Vilna martyrs: Anthony, John and Eustathius, the website of the diocese of the UOC.
The Holy relics of the aforementioned saints are in the Holy spirit monastery in Vilnius (Lithuania).
Brought particles of the relics of the priest of Uzhgorod Cathedral – Archpriest Maxim Zhuravel. From now on, to venerate Holy places in the Cathedral in honor of the “Pochaev” icon of the Mother of God in Mukachevo and Uzhgorod Holy cross Church.
Vilnya martyrs Anthony, John and Eustathius Orthodox Christians killed in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the 40-ies of the XIV century.
