Heroes, dances, churches with domes, landscapes, fleeing away, and the saints, close to the Russian heart, – these are the themes of children’s drawings presented at the Fourth urban creative contest “Journey to Ancient Russia”, organized by the Museum of Andrei Rublev in conjunction with the City methodical center of Department of education of the city of Moscow. On September 18, the Museum will host the award ceremony and the opening of the exhibition of works by the winners of the contest.
In the 2017-2018 school year it was held in the field of children’s artistic, literary works and creative research projects. The competition was attended by over 1120 children aged 4 to 14 years. In the vast majority are students of educational institutions of Moscow and Moscow region. The authoritative jury under the chairmanship of the Director of the Museum of Andrei Rublev, M. B. Mindlin determined the winners.
The award ceremony will be held on 18 September 2018 at 15: 00 in the Refectory chamber (second floor main Museum), exhibition of works of winners will be opened in the conference hall of the Museum (Andronievskaya sq., house No. 8). The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony of winners and laureates.
