On the day of the Holy great Martyr and healer Panteleimon believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will pray for the doctors and patients.
With the blessing of his Beatitude Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine Onuphrius on August 9 in all the churches and monasteries of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will offer special prayers. Reported Information-enlightenment Department of the UOC.
During the divine Liturgy at the litany of fervent supplication will be lifted up prayers for the doctors and patients.

Saint Panteleimon dedicated his life to the suffering, the sick, the poor and the poor. He treated without charge all who turned to him, healing them in the Name of Jesus Christ.
