Procession to the cross Kalinowski
Thousands of believers come to pray to Kalinouski cross, from which in 1923 started to bleed.
In the diocese of Vinnytsia was held a procession in honor of the 95th anniversary of the miracle Kalinowski, reports the website of the diocese of the UOC.
Several thousand Orthodox believers with the monks and clergy overcame a four-kilometer route from the temple of St. Paraskeva Srpska to the place where a bullet from the Bolsheviks in 1923, the cross started to bleed.
The procession was headed by Metropolitan of Vinnitsa and Barsky Simeon and the Archbishop of Mogilev-Podolsky and Shargorodsky Agapit.
The participants of the “one mouth” sang the prayers of the Savior and mother of God. Reaching Kalinowski cross, Metropolitan Simeon addressed the congregation and urged all the participants in the procession praying that Ukraine has come long-awaited peace to stop the war.
After the welcoming words of the divine Liturgy, where hundreds of pilgrims were able to partake of the Holy mysteries of Christ.
At the end of the procession all the participants of the procession were able to reinforce the forces on the meal prepared by the sisters of the Holy Trinity monastery Brailovsky.
Kalinowski miracle happened in 1923. According to archival documents, on 7 July, the red army was shot by the roadside and cross the shoulder of the Savior drip real blood. Thousands of pilgrims began to visit the place of the wonderful phenomenon.
