“Orthodox aunts” was a procession in St. Petersburg
Website of “New time” issued fake “Orthodox aunts” who “dispatched” in Kiev, illustrating his photos from the procession near St. Isaac’s Cathedral.
In confirmation of the information given in the news, the site publishes a photo with the caption “the UOC-MP’s trying to block the work of the Exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarch”. In reality, the photo was taken in St. Petersburg.
In the news under the heading “the Autocephaly of the UOC: the Russian Federation has sent to Kiev “Orthodox aunts” – SBU” resource placed photo with the caption “the UOC-MP’s trying to block the work of the Exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew” and the subheading “to try to disrupt the provision of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Tomos of autocephaly Russia sent to Kiev their provocateurs”.
“Provocateurs”, “disrupting” grant Thomas, was a procession in St. Petersburg: thousands of the faithful walked around St. Isaac’s Cathedral in a prayer procession. Photo was taken 19 Feb.
As reported by the SPM, earlier in SBU has accused Russia of instigating capture of churches in Ukraine.
