Metropolitan. Anthony: If we in the Church, we must go through Christ


Managing the Affairs of the UOC Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary (Pakanich) on behalf of all the fullness of the canonical Church congratulates Primate on Christmas

God came to earth not for the sake of restoring political independence of Israel, and to return people to immortality and heaven, reminded Bishop Anthony.

The way of Christ and the Church is through humility and sacrifice, and if we in the Church, then you must take the road of our Savior, said Chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary (Pakanich).

He reminded that salvation can only be faithful to the Savior and the Mother Church.

This is why God comes to earth” – said Bishop Anthony.

“Anyone who wants to change the meaning of the incarnation, all who want the Church to serve the earthly purposes will be defeated,” concluded the Metropolitan.

Earlier, the Metropolitan of Boryspil and Brovarsky Anthony urged the congregation not to lose faith in the salvation and dignity to overcome suffering.

He also stressed that due to the trials the Church has received the chance to become stronger. “Good always triumphs over evil and love will prevail. All this will certainly happen. Only such a victory should occur first in our hearts, when we are in defense of Truth, rejecting the lies and the darkness,” said the Bishop.
