23 June 2018 Patriarchal vicar of the Moscow diocese, Metropolitan of Krutitsy and Kolomna Juvenal headed in the suburban St. Seraphim-Znamensky skete of the women’s day celebration in memory of the founder of the monastery of prepodobnomuchenitsy Tamar (Marjanovi), reports the Synodal Department for monasteries and monasticism.
This day was a divine Liturgy under the open sky in front of the relics of the Holy found novopaschenny, first exhibited for worship.
His Eminence was assisted by: the representative of the Georgian Orthodox Cerqueira Nikortsminda Vakhtang; vicar bishops of the Moscow diocese: the Bishop of Serpukhov Roman, Dean of the monasteries of the Moscow diocese, rector of the Vysotsky monastery of Serpukhov; Bishop of Zaraisk, Konstantin, rector of the Kolomna theological Seminary; Bishop Tikhon, rector of St. Catherine’s monastery of the city of Vidnoye; Bishop lukhovitskiy Peter, Dean of the Kolomna district of the Moscow regional diocese; the Bishop of Serpukhov Ilian (retired), as well as abbots of the monasteries of the Moscow region and the diocesan clergy.
Praying at the Liturgy were: the mother superior of Serafimo-Znamensky skete of the women’s abbess innocent (Popov), sisters; Deputy Chairman of the Synodal Department for monasteries and monasticism, the abbess conception stauropegic women’s convent abbess Juliana (Kaleda); the abbess Nativity of Theotokos Stavropegial convent Quiz (Perminova); abbess of the convents of Moscow diocese and by many pilgrims.
The Church sang hymns male choir of the Georgian Orthodox Church and the Sisterhood choir of Holy Trinity monastery, Trinity new Golutvin convent in Kolomna under the control of the abbess of the convent hegumeness Kseniya (Zaitseva).
The service was conducted in two languages – Russian and Georgian – is equally loved for mother Tamar.
After the Liturgy a moleben was served before the relics of Holy celebrate.
Then the mother superior of Serafimo-Znamensky skete of the abbess innocent (Popov) was welcomed by Metropolitan Juvenal and thanked his Eminence, Archbishop for celebrating the divine service. In his word the reverence It briefly reminded the audience of the life of presp. Tamar and presented Vladyka Yuvenaly icon novopaschenny Holy relics.
In a reciprocal word the head of the Moscow diocese has voiced gratitude to all those who assisted in the revival of the St. Seraphim-Znamensky skete, and participated in the uncovering of the relics of presp. Tamar. Special appreciation was expressed by the Bishop, the Diocesan Commission for the acquisition and transfer of the Holy relics of the Holy and its chair, Bishop Peter Lukhovickogo, as well as experts, scientists and clergy who participated in the examination of the relics found.

In prayerful memory of the accomplished in the day of the event, Vladyka Yuvenaly was handed to the Bishop: for the Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II icon presp. Tamar (Marjanovic) with relics, presented to Metropolitan, hegumeness Innocentia.
In the end, the worshipers had the opportunity to venerate the honourable relics of prepodobnomuchenitsy Tamar, and sanctify the Holy icons novopaschenny.

Schema-abbess Tamar, in the world Princess Tamara Marjanishvili (Marjanova) was born 1 APR 1868 in Georgia. After the death of her parents she took vows in the monastery of Saint Nino in Bodbe with the name Juvenal. In 1905, the decree of the Holy Synod, she was appointed abbess of the intercession convent in Moscow. In 1910, her worries began construction of the St. Seraphim-Znamensky skete monastery near Moscow, where in 1915 she was tonsured into the great schema with the name Tamar.
In 1924 the monastery was closed. In 1931 chiyoumen Tamar with her two sisters of the monastery was arrested and sentenced to exile in the Irkutsk region. After the end of the term links it, already seriously ill with tuberculosis, returned to Moscow and on 23 June 1936, departed to the Lord.
22 Dec 2016 Holy Synod of the Georgian Orthodox Church took the decision on the canonization of schema-abbess Tamar (Marjanovic) in the face of prepodobnomuchenitsa. 28 December 2017 the members of the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church decided to include the name of a Saint in the calendar of Russian Orthodox Church (journal No. 123) with the definition of the celebration of her memory 10/23 June, as established in the Georgian Church.
